We knew we had to come up with a name for our new home in Mexico. What should it be we thought. Of course everyone in the family had an idea....
Casa Fiesta,
Casa Doggeroo, Mama's
Casa. We must of thought of 100 different names for the place. In the end the people of
Platanitos named it for us. It seems as though our property was home to many large lizards (
lagarto's) who loved to lay in the sun there. So the name stuck and it became
Casa Lagarto. You can still see some great lizards
hanging around every now and then. But they are very afraid of people so to see one is rare. We have been lucky to get some great shots of the fellows and we share a couple with you here.
