Seems like just yesterday that we held our new baby boy in our arms. I will never forget that day and how Paul held Jacob in his arms and wept. It was such a special day for us. We drove home just six hours after he was born and we laid in bed the rest of the day just staring out our beautiful new son. We had so many thoughts that day, what would he be like? what color would his eyes end up being? would he be funny? would he be kind? Well that was 27 years ago and I can tell you that he is funny and he is warm. He is kind and gentle and has a good soul. His eyes are blue like his mom's and his smile is big, bright and white. He makes us all laugh all the time. He is also happy with his life and not many can say that. He knows who he is and he likes that person. He is always up for a good time and always ready to share a laugh or two. He makes good decisions and he also lives with the bad ones. He is not perfect, but he is ours and we love him. We are so lucky to be his parents and to share his life to this point. Happy birthday son!
