Misty Lou Who

One of the hard parts for me about Mexico is having to leave my "pack" of dogs. Anyone who knows Paul and I can tell you that we have always had a house full of rotton, but lovable mutts. Since our kids are grown and for the most part on their own, the dogs have become our "kids". We love each and every one of them. But they can not go with us to Mexico on our trips. Sooo we are very thankful that our neighbors Richard and Lindsay share their "beach dog" Misty with us. The Willans adopted Misty from the streets and today she is a healthy, well feed, and loving dog. Paul and I are sort of like her "auntie and uncle" when we are in our villa. I always buy good canned dog food to feed her and we let her sleep in our casita. She is a great watch dog and for the most part sticks around the house. I think that sometimes it is just to hard for her and off to the beach she goes. You have to be a really smart dog to stay alive in Mexico, most of them end up as road kill. Misty is very smart and everyone in Platanitos knows her. Sometimes she will not come home for the night and the next day someone will say"oh she stayed with us last night". I guess you could question her loyality........
