Dinner in Mexico
Having friends over in Mexico is always fun for Paul and I. We love to meet and get to know all the wonderful people that spend time near us in Mexico. It is also a time I get to use all the beautiful dishes and glasses at the Villa. It does not hurt that the views from the table are amazing. During dinner you can see whales and boats and all the other amazing things that happen in the ocean. We spend as much time as we can with the group of people we have meet down there. I am always telling Paul that we meet the most fasinating people in Mexico. I guess it is that pioneer type spirit that brings them there. Going to Puerto Vallerta, Cancun, cozamal is easy. There are thousands of Americans drinking at Senior Frogs and cruising the strips of shops and bars. But once you get out to the "real Mexico" you do not find those same people. These are the adventures, and we are lucky to know them. They come from every walk of life and tell great stories of how they got to this point. After several bottles of wine and some great local shrimp, life becomes what it should be "a gift".

you could have plastic forks and paper plates and it wouldn't matter. that view is all you need really. it's just unreal!
ps: the forks and plates would have to be compostable, of course!
Hola! It is wonderful to read all the wonderful things you say about my beautiful country, thank you for liking it as much as I do :) I am from and presently live in Puerto Vallarta, I have never been to Platanitos but have heard about the great pescado sarandeado one can eat there so maybe one of these weekends I will drive over. I have never been to Colorado but have travelled to many other places in the US and have enjoyed all of them - Love to shop and always have withdrawls, especially now because we will not be going until August this year :( Have a wonderful weekend and I will return soon to your blog to enjoy the great pictures and the nice comments :)
