Our dear friends Bill and Paula became Grandparents this week. Their son Brett and daughter-in-law Crystal have a new baby boy Spencer Townsend. Paula is just over the moon with this new little guy and we are so happy for all of them. There is nothing like the birth of your first grandchild! The feelings we have as parents watching our children go through this amazing journey is more than works can say. I have been telling Paula that she would not be able to describe the feelings she would have. When our Connor was born I knew at that moment what our life was all about. It was about the future. So now Brett and Crystal lives will change. Change like they never thought. It is not the changing of the diapers or the feedings at 2 a.m. It is the change in your gut. The feeling that you are now more..better. They will not be able to remember what use to fill their time and their hearts. They will only know that they have been given this gift, and they will spend the rest of their lives honoring that gift. Good luck, we will all be here if you need us.
