Venice Beach
I have no idea what the true name of this beach is, but we have always called it Venice Beach. It is a short walk to the north of our house. In the last three years we have seen maybe five other people at this beach. You have to walk a path through the jungle and I think it is too much trouble for most of the locals. There are no beach cafes or an area to throw a boat in. Just a beautiful little beach with nice body surfing waves. More of a gringo beach really. Paul loves the body surfing there and the fact that we have it all to ourselves. Paul has been know to shed his suit a time or two. It is also a great beach for the grandchildren since there is no rip tide there and very shallow. It has not been very often in our lives that we get such a beautiful beach all to ourselves. It is a real gem
