Fisher and Sophia

Sorry it has been so long. When I am in Mexico the internet is so slow that posting a blog is really hard. I am happy to be home after spending the last 21 days in Mexico with Fisher and Sophia. Jill had to go to Florida with Connor and so Paul and I took the two little ones to Casa Lagarto. I will tell you that they were just great kids. Jill and Erik have done a wonderful job or raising very good children. We all know this is not something that just "happens". I know that making the hard decisions of raising kids is never easy. Sometimes the easy way is not the right way. Fisher and Sophia are polite, well behaved children. I never had to tell them twice. When it is time for bed they say their goodnights to everyone and go to bed! That's it...they go to bed. Paul and I would tuck them in tell them we loved them and left the room. They did not need us to read countless books or stay in the room with them, they just go to bed. I guess it should not surprise me because our children did the same thing. But out friends in Mexico were so surprised how well behaved they were. We really have to give the kudos to Jill and Erik. We had a blast with both the kids and my only wish is that they could remember this trip like I will. We had a lot of cuddle time and lots and lots of laughing. We sure love these kids and we are honored to be their "papa and honey"
