The Trip Home-The US side

So once we crossed the border we drove to Tucson and lunch with Jill and the family. Since they have moved to Arizona we do not get to see them as much as we would like. But we also know and understand that they are doing what is best for their family. I guess this recession has taken its toll on all of us in different ways.
We got to Claim Jumpers first and got a table. A few minutes later in came all the kids. It has only been since January, but I swear they have all grown so much. Connor is almost as tall as Jill now and so handsome. Fisher is taller too and seems so happy with a big smile on his face as soon as he saw us. Sophia was so cute and shy, till she warmed up and then she chatted away (the apple does not fall far from the tree). It was good to have my eyes on my beautiful daughter as well. She has always been such a joy in our lives. Her beauty is not only in her beautiful smile, and her powerful blue eyes. But in her soul. She is funny and smart. She has always made us proud. She is an amazing mother and our grandchildren are lucky to have her as their mother.
Once we had lunch we were off to the Tucson Children's Museum for the afternoon. We had so much fun with the kids and are always amazed at how smart they are.
Once the museum closed they were off to shop and we were off to Phoenix to catch a plane. And although our time together was short, it was good. A perfect ending to another perfect trip. Thanks to all that made it wonderful!
